Kathy Lewton on the dangers of the medical "Blame Game"

With the never-ending rise in health care costs, Kathy Lewton looks at the dangers of the medical "Blame Game" that has engulfed the entire industry, from pharmaceutical and insurance companies to hospitals and physicians to HMOs, and back around again.

Read her paper, "The 'Blame Game' Among Health Care Industry Sectors Damages Credibility, Erodes Trust That’s Essential for the Good Health of Americans and Our Organizations" published by PRSA Health Academy.

Paul Gillin on why Twitter succeeded and Second Life failed

Click here for Paul Gillin's column in BtoB Magazine as he discusses how Twitter succeeded while Second Life failed. And on April 10, Paul Gillin will be speaking at the PR Lifelines in Health Care conference in Indianapolis, talking about social media tools such as Twitter.

"First-time users are often overwhelmed by Twitter's chaotic cacophony, but they soon understand its utility as a simple, real-time news feed of information from sources they trust. In contrast, most people understand Second Life immediately, but they haven't the patience to put up with its complexity. Over time, Twitter wins and Second Life loses."
